Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to assist cardiologists with invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing imaging and monitoring equipment. The role requires radiologic technology certification, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT radiography registration, with duties spanning sterile setup, patient care, and documentation.

Qualifications

BLS and ACLS certifications kept current or within required timeframe.
Radiologic Technology certificate or degree completed.
ARRT Radiography registration required or in good standing.
Active licensure or eligibility for radiologic technologist role.

Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures using specialized equipment.
Set up and operate electrical/imaging systems and monitors during procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and organize supplies for each case.
Monitor patient status and respond to complications with clinical judgment.
Document procedures, equipment used, and patient responses accurately.
Collaborate with team and research staff on department initiatives.
