Job Description

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops and maintains a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt. Supervises catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment, setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  2. Books events, selects and costs menu items, and determines pricing as needed.
  3. Coordinates activities with other internal departments. Participates in management team meetings. Interfaces with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  4. Represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  5. Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  6. Participates in catering training programs; helps develop and implement training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  7. Assists in implementing and adhering to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
  8. Prior experience with event booking is preferred.

Minimum Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED.
