Job Description

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing food service operations. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain a safety culture that promotes a work environment where no one gets hurt. Supervise catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment management, setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying sizes and complexities.
  2. Book events, select and cost menu items, and set pricing as needed.
  3. Coordinate activities with internal departments, participate in management meetings, and interface with vendors and key clients.
  4. Represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  5. Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  6. Participate in catering training programs and assist in developing and implementing training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  7. Support the implementation and adherence to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
  8. Prior experience with event booking is preferred.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
