HEI Hotels & Resorts manages Brickell Arch, Miami, seeking a Catering Manager to drive revenue and guest satisfaction across all catering accounts. You will solicit new business, maintain relationships with clients, and ensure successful execution of events.

Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, yield management, market research, and partnering with culinary and banquet teams. Strong hospitality experience and at least 1 year in catering sales preferred.

Formación

• Prior hospitality experience with catering sales is essential.
• Minimum 1+ year in catering sales.
• Experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and hotel sales systems.
• Strong sales and revenue management skills; ability to train and motivate peers.
• Knowledge of hotel features, benefits, and competitive landscape.
• Understanding of hotel operations, including marketing, budgeting, and QA.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prospect and solicit new and existing accounts to achieve revenue goals.
• Utilize forecasting, budgeting, pace management, and productivity metrics to meet targets.
• Apply yield management techniques to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Evaluate catering opportunities for profitability and client alignment.
• Conduct market research on competitors’ products, services, and pricing.
• Sell hotel services including room rental and A/V to maximize account value.
• Build long-term client relationships and secure repeat business.
• Coordinate with culinary and banquet teams for event design and execution.
• Oversee event execution with banquet staff and vendors for client satisfaction.
• Maintain records in sales/event systems and ensure proper documentation.
