You will lead a high-performance sales team, set strategies, oversee forecasts, and build strong client partnerships in a dynamic market.

The role emphasizes market analysis, direct sales, and cross-functional collaboration with hotel operations to optimize profitability and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales leadership in a similar sized operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related software.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff and oversee group room sales commitments.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and provide guidance.
• Ensure training programs meet HEI standards and drive staff improvement.
• Prepare annual and monthly forecasts, lead reports, and meeting minutes.
• Research travel industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Organize and attend sales department and related meetings.
