Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Melbourne, FL is seeking an energetic Catering Sales Manager to lead event sales, build client relationships, and drive revenue. You’ll learn brand strategy and work with hotel teams to tailor proposals that win business.

This role requires at least three years in hotel or conference catering/sales, strong communication, negotiation, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in hotel or conference Catering/Sales.
• High school education required; college level preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer loyalty and grow account share through service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services for events.
• Establish client base of organizations, associations, and corporate businesses through direct sales efforts to secure business.
• Negotiate food and beverage, function space, room rates, and hotel services to meet revenue goals.
• Ensure all solicitation, closing, and communications are documented.
