Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Catering Sales professional in Baltimore to drive social catering events and manage client leads. You will negotiate contracts, coordinate floor plans and BEOs, and partner with culinary and conference services to ensure seamless events.

The role emphasizes achieving sales goals, maintaining strong client relationships, and presenting detailed reports to management while working on-site at the property.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED plus 2–5 years of hotel/conference center sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Candidate should be able to utilize Word, Excel, MICROS, and a property management system.

Responsibilities

• Sell social catering events and service accounts; develop and follow up on leads for assigned markets.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and banquet event orders (BEO) with clients by meeting in person or by phone.
• Achieve sales goals and plan events booked with oversight of the function.
• Anticipate or react to group problems and provide solutions.
• Prepare specialized reports as needed and monitor budgeted revenue goals.
• Communicate with Executive Chef, Banquets, and Conference Services regarding setup changes and final counts.
• Represent Crestline Hotels & Resorts at trade association meetings to promote properties.
