Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to drive new catering accounts and nurture existing relationships to meet revenue goals for food and beverage services.

You will coordinate client functions, oversee contracts, and collaborate with hotel departments to deliver exceptional events and client experiences on site in Baltimore. The role requires strong hospitality sales experience and a bachelor’s degree, with proficiency in Delphi, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Familiarity with food and beverage basics, menu planning and private/group event coordination.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers.
• Computer proficiency with Delphi, Excel and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiry calls, proposals, negotiations and contracts for leads with a guest count of 75 or fewer.
• Schedule site visits and assist walk-in clients to ensure a positive impression.
• Sell event and private dining space following department policies.
• Generate and close event contracts including catering and event space.
• Coordinate with services, banquet and culinary teams for a smooth client experience.
• Achieve sales goals and close business; serve as on-site contact for events.
• Provide quarterly production data to Director of Sales & Marketing and attend weekly meetings.
• Maintain client communication and liaise with operations to ensure continuity.
