Job summary

SSA Group seeks a Catering Supervisor in San Antonio to lead on-site catering operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences and adherence to company policies. The role requires supervising staff, managing inventory and event setup, and coordinating with the Catering Manager to deliver flawless banquet events.

You’ll oversee front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, maintain food quality, and handle guest needs with a proactive, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for guests and clients.
• Oversee quality, product levels and inventory.
• Train and supervise staff across departments during events.
• Manage setup, execution, teardown for banquet events; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Interpret and execute BEOs to high standards.
• Explain event successes or failures and provide creative solutions.
