Job summary

SSA Group, LLC. is seeking a Catering Lead to supervise events from setup to teardown across our portfolio. You will lead teams, ensure food and beverage standards, and maintain client satisfaction at all times.

Role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Occasional overtime and travel to events are involved; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Strong communication with clients, GMs, and HQ personnel.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making in fast-paced events.
• Able to adapt in a dynamic event environment.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming experiences for guests and clients.
• Oversee quality, product levels and inventory.
• Fulfill guest needs quickly and resolve complaints.
• Supervise setup, execution, and teardown of buffets and stations.
• Coordinate between back-of-house and front-of-house for timely service.
• Supervise staff and ensure high standards at events.
• Interpret and execute BEOs to company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, presentation, and service techniques.
