Job summary

SSA Group, a trusted partner for cultural attractions, seeks an Assistant Catering Operations Manager to lead logistics and execution of on-site events. You will coordinate with Sales, Culinary teams and other departments to deliver seamless experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, client communication, budgeting, and a hands-on approach to event planning, staffing, and supplier management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop catering event plans including orders, pull sheets, timelines, staffing, visuals and layouts.
• Coordinate with Sales to capture event requirements and ensure accurate execution.
• Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events for smooth operations.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and materials are available and functional for events.
• Lead weekly BEO meetings and communicate revisions to stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, invoices, costs, and inventory to maximize value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary and other teams to deliver flawless events.
