Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality menu items for catering orders. This on-site role works with a team to follow established recipes, uphold safety standards, and deliver precise portions and presentations.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, ServSafe certification, knife skills, and experience in fast-paced kitchen environments. Weekend/Holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days.
• Must have knife/cutting skills.
• Understanding of cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering preferred.
• Ability to take orders and work well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated to assist in prep and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct new and existing team members; ensure proper labeling and allergen accuracy on all trays.
• Provide feedback to Kitchen Management to monitor and improve quality.
• Assist in butchering of meats and fish; support daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food preparations meet ACW standards and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen; monitor temp-logs; follow food safety practices.
• Assist in ordering, inventory and other duties as assigned by GM.
• Use Shipday for order logistics when organizing or delivering catering.
