Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide, LLC. is seeking a Cook in Ashburn, VA for an on-site, team-driven kitchen supporting catering orders. The role involves preparing hot, cold, salads, canapés, and desserts, following established recipes and cost controls, under supervision of Kitchen Management.

You will work closely with cooks and prep staff, ensure food safety, maintain HACCP compliance, and participate in daily operations including ordering and inventory tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days.
• Knife/cutting skills required.
• Understanding of cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering companies or its equivalent required.
• Ability to take orders and follow through in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct Air Culinaire team members; ensure accuracy, food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Provide feedback to Kitchen Management to monitor, maintain and improve quality.
• Assist in butchering of meats and fish and with daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food preparations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and sanitized kitchen and monitor temperature logs.
• Direct and assist with ordering and inventory under the General Manager.
• Use Shipday for all order logistics and delivery details.
