Job summary

SSA Group seeks a Catering & Event Operations Manager to lead catering logistics, planning, and on-site execution for high-profile events at Foothills Golf Club. You will coordinate with Sales, Culinary and other teams to deliver seamless experiences, while managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, client management, and adaptability in a dynamic environment. On-site work with varied hours is expected across events and venues.

• (Outdoor Venues Only): Comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed plans for catering events, including event orders, pull sheets, timelines, staffing schedules and layouts.
• Coordinate with Sales to capture event requirements and ensure accurate execution.
• Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of events and ensure all aspects run smoothly.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and materials are available and in good working condition.
• Walk event spaces with Sales Team to verify readiness and address issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary and other departments to ensure flawless events.
• Create eye-catching and innovative F&B displays with the Culinary Team.
• Oversee catering product quality, inventory and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat business.
