Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality seeks a Sales Manager to drive catering/banquet goals across one or more hotels. You will solicit and secure new accounts while servicing existing groups, coordinating with the Director of Sales to meet revenue and market-share targets.

Overtime may apply for OEM associates as needed. The role requires strong communication, computer and presentation skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; prior sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication to negotiate and influence.
• Experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attain assigned sales and revenue goals and solicitation call goals.
• Proactively conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients in Social, Corporate, Business, or SMERF segments as applicable.
• Grow relationships with assigned accounts in Leisure, SMERF, BT, or Groups segments as applicable.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends within the assigned segment.
• Maintain attentive, friendly, courteous, service-oriented interactions with guests and employees.
• Adhere to regulations, company catering/meeting standards and related sales metrics.
• Develop working knowledge of hotel operations and department policies.
• Maintain visibility in local community and industry organizations.
• Assist in or participate in special promotions related to direct sales segments.
• Attend scheduled meetings and perform other duties as required.
