Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Category Leadership Manager to help develop and execute category strategy with Retailers. You will provide insights to drive category results and become the voice of choice for retailer insight needs.

You will collaborate with Field Sales, Category Strategy, Consumer Marketplace Insights, and other teams to deliver growth opportunities and national category initiatives, including building retailer-specific business plans and compelling sales stories.

Qualifications

• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 7+ years related work experience.
• Identify category opportunity gaps with key retailers and develop a supporting sales story.
• Working understanding of planogram creation and JDA Prospace or equivalents.
• Create or alter POGs to best position Nestlé and retail partners.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; database management a plus.
• Knowledge of Nielsen/IRI data and consumer insights tools.
• Ability to craft sales stories and understand trade channel differences.
• Understand CAP guidelines and Category Roadmaps.
