Job summary
Fairmount Park is seeking an Assistant Casino Operations Shift Manager to safeguard assets, supervise operations staff, and ensure compliance with Illinois gaming regulations. You will monitor live and electronic gaming activities, oversee budgeting, and produce operational reports, while maintaining customer satisfaction and game integrity.
The role requires knowledge of blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker, 21+ age, ability to obtain an Illinois Gaming Board license, and strong leadership
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Must obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
- Experience with blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker.
- Strong knowledge of casino game rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard company assets within the casino operations (Slots & Table Games) department.
- Manage, direct and supervise all casino operations personnel.
- Administer the overall casino operations department per Internal Control System policies.
- Establish and implement policies consistent with IGB rules and regulations.
- Monitor live gaming and electronic gaming device activities for compliance.
- Budget and manage department to maximize revenue and control expenses.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute casino operations reports and financials.
- Handle customer disputes while maintaining game security and satisfaction.
- Perform duties related to IGB statewide Self Exclusion Program.
