Job summary

Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking a part-time Cashier in Englewood, FL to greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure accurate sales data while supporting the organization’s mission.

You will handle change rounds, respond to phone inquiries, assist in training new cashiers, and keep the sales floor tidy and safe; prior retail cash handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
