Goodwill Industries Manasota Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier in Lake Worth Beach, FL to provide excellent customer service and accurate sales transactions. This part-time role emphasizes a positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork in a busy retail environment.

You'll greet customers, operate the POS system, support training, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store floor while contributing to our mission-driven organization. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS system for sales, pricing, and item codes.
• Encourage Change Round Up at the register.
• Answer phone calls while delivering customer service.
• Assist in training new cashiers.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe; return unsold merchandise to the floor.

POSITION OUTLINE:

Do you enjoy interacting with customers? Are you a positive individual who succeeds in multitasking?

As a Cashier, you will:

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor
