Job summary

Goodwill Industries in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure accurate pricing and customer service. The role involves engaging customers in the Change Round Up program and assisting in training new cashiers, while maintaining a clean and safe sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our mission.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
