Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is hiring a full-time Cashier in Bradenton. You will greet customers, operate the POS, and encourage participation in Change Round Up to support our missions.

Key duties include handling cash, delivering excellent service, assisting with training, and keeping the sales floor tidy and safe. We offer strong benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
