Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Cashier in Port St. Lucie, FL.

You will greet customers, operate the POS system, process transactions accurately, and help maintain a welcoming checkout area. This role emphasizes friendly service, dependable scheduling, and teamwork within a mission-driven environment. You may work days, evenings, and weekends while supporting store goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor
