Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier in Jensen Beach, FL to greet customers and process sales with accuracy on the POS system.

You will help with Change Round Up donations and support store operations, including assisting in training new cashiers. The role requires a willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends, plus a basic high school diploma or GED and cash-handling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
