Goodwill Manasota is looking for a friendly Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS accurately, and help train new team members. The role emphasizes cheerful service and efficient transactions in a retail setting.

As a Full-Time Team Member, you’ll contribute to a well-organized store, support mission-driven rounds, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.

• Encourage customers to participate in Change Round Up to support our mission.
• Respond to phone calls while delivering customer service.

THE POSITION:

As a Cashier, you will:

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor
