Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assist with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
3. Perform general cleaning duties, including trash removal.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cashier transactions according to procedures, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, ensure food temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if not.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Keep refrigerator stocked and rotated using FIFO method.
11. Stock pantries to par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
