Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Stores foods properly, following wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Serves customers courteously, following service steps.
• Interacts with customers, resolving complaints amicably.
• Relays relevant information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions, enters sales into the register, makes change, and accepts various payment methods.
• Issues receipts and processes refunds following standard procedures.
• Manages cash drawer and change funds accurately.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
