• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Charter House - Mayo Clinic Retirement Living - 211 Second Street, Rochester, MN 55905. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Morning and evening shifts available. Weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior cash handling and food prep experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $18.25 to $19.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operate POS system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Support catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Handle cleaning duties; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Maintain cash accuracy and handle deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Ensure refrigerator stock and product rotation using FIFO.
• Stock pantry items and record temperatures and replenishments daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
