We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position at Atrium Health Pineville - 10628 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Open availability required. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior customer service and cash handling experience required.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assist with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
4. Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Cashier according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts. Make deposits at the end of each shift.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, ensure temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges; notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Set up items for purchase daily.
10. Keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule.
11. Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily. Record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
