• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Address: Spring Arbor College - 106 East Main Street, Spring Arbor, MI 49283. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Help with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning; remove trash to designated areas.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Stock refrigerator and rotate products using FIFO.
• Maintain pantry par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
