+ Location: Pfizer - 7000 Portage Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weighs and measures ingredients.
3. Carries pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
4. Stores food properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
5. Maintains cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
7. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
8. Serves customers courteously and efficiently, following steps of service.
9. Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Adheres to sanitation and safety regulations.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
