• We are hiring immediately for a full time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Piedmont Medical Center - 222 South Herlong Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior cashier or food service experience required.
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness; manage trash disposal.
• Serve customers in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintain receipts, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks of any issues.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for sale daily, ensure refrigerator stock and proper rotation.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and replenish food supplies as per standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
