Job Summary

Summary: Operate Point of Sale system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and keep the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to established procedures, maintain cash accuracy with receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensure temperatures are recorded and within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if not.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using FIFO.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
