Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley in Frederick, MD is seeking a store associate to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, manage POS transactions, and support sales floor standards. The role emphasizes delivering friendly service and promoting donations.

Starting pay is $15.15 per hour. The position requires high school education or equivalent, 16+ years old, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work with integrity and dependability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Handle POS transactions and process all payment types.
• Encourage donations at POS.
• Maintain pricing by merchandise type and markings.
• Close out shifts as required.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Greet customers and thank them upon exit.
• Keep sales floor clean and well-stocked.
• Make store announcements using internal paging systems.
• Model Goodwill core values.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
