Job summary

Wind River Hotel & Casino in Riverton, WY is seeking a front-line associate to deliver courteous guest service, operate the POS system, and support front staff across dining and casino operations.

You will handle cash and card transactions, prepare daily sales reports, and communicate with guests to enhance their experience while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ at time of hire.
• US work authorization required.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a gaming license.
• Serv Safe certification.

Responsibilities

Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides continuous, prompt, and courteous service to customers.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and complies with safety practices.
• Operates POS system in processing food and beverage charges.
• Handles multiple transactions with cash, credit cards, coupons, vouchers, comps, etc.
• Prepares daily sales reports and reconciliation statement for the vault.
• Interacts positively with customers by inquiring about their dining experience, satisfaction, answering any questions and providing casino information either in person or via telephone.
• Assists all other front staff when the need arises by bussing, cashiering, hosting, clearing, or setting tables, being a team player, etc.
• Effectively works and communicates with other departments, vendors, customers to resolve problems and expedite work or services.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, rules, regulations, MICS.
• Report and document all unusual occurrences.
• Attend all mandatory trainings.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs.
• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Must be 18 at time of hire.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
