Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining/Updating the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with brand standards.
- Front-end web development including the execution of all visual design stages from concept to go-live.
- Back-end knowledge for updating websites and security issues.
- Implement website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverable to peers within the marketing department.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Creation of short motion graphic videos for use on digital displays/monitors across the properties.
- Works effectively with all casino personnel.
- Present at all mandatory meetings and trainings.
- Works closely with Senior Designer.
- All other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
WEB DESIGN SUMMARY
Summary
The ideal person will successfully improve the feel and functionality of various websites and digital initiatives initiated by Wind River Hotel & Casino and Northern Arapaho Enterprises. This person should have an eye for clean and artful web design, including creative guidance, compelling artwork (including images, icons, and banners), and layouts that are appealing and user-friendly. The successful web designer will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to efficiently transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

- Backend knowledge for updates and security issues.
- Implement website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverable to peers within the marketing department and executive level stakeholders.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Creation of short motion graphic videos for use on digital displays/monitors across the three properties.
- Works effectively with all casino personnel.
- Present at all mandatory trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualification Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a web designer.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
- Good understanding of content management systems.
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- A relevant diploma in a related field.
