Are you seeking a role in a helpful, fun, and guest-focused environment? We are looking for Cashiers to provide outstanding service to our customers, whom we call guests. As a vital part of our retail team, you'll ensure every shopper leaves eager to return.

Providing excellent guest service is central to our mission. Whether greeting guests, answering questions, or resolving concerns, you will handle each interaction professionally and with care. Your willingness to assist will positively impact our guests daily.

Job Description
What You'll Do:

As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Your responsibilities include:

  • Engage with Guests: Engage in friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Efficient Transactions: Scan items, process sales accurately, and handle monetary transactions carefully.
  • Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products arrive in the same condition as when they left the store.
  • Stay Informed: Be aware of current promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
  • Maintain Order: Keep your register area neat and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services team to ensure satisfaction.
  • Quality Standards: Meet all quality and quantity standards, especially during peak hours at 10 am and 5 pm.
  • Teamwork: Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed as a Cashier at Festival Foods, you should have:

  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service.
  • Retail Experience: Experience in processing transactions and handling cash and media at registers.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately for precise transactions.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
