Summary of Job Duties:

The Cashier handles register transactions with customers at retail food outlets, including operating the cash register to receive payment for food service items and making change. The position may also involve preparing and/or serving food items.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School diploma/GED plus 6 months customer service and cashier experience
• Knowledge of Point of Sale Systems (POS)

Preferred:

• Food service experience
• ServSafe certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform transactions involving cash, cards, meal tickets, payroll deductions, etc.
• Prepare and produce specialty drinks
• Clean work area and surrounding environment
• Stock supplies such as paper goods, food, and beverages
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Frequent physical activity: standing, bending, handling, talking
• Occasional physical activity: tasting, smelling
• Lift/Carry: 26-50 lbs
