The role involves maintaining outstanding customer service, working closely with all Wine and Spirits associates to ensure company policies are followed, department goals are met, and associates' needs are addressed. Associates will personalize guest experiences by providing expertise on Wine & Spirits products, including wine pairings and local craft beers, guiding guests to the perfect selections.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet all department standards in Wine and Spirits.
• Monitor sales floor and back stock; take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with vendors, managers, and associates to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist guests in finding items on the sales floor.
• Be aware of all promotions and advertisements.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain cash/media at registers.
• Handle special orders and requests.
• Use proper phone etiquette when answering calls.
• Address and resolve guest concerns.
• Ensure the register area is orderly and stocked.
• Support and execute superior customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Contribute to cleanliness and organization of the department.
• High School diploma or equivalent; experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old to sample products.
• Effective communication and tactful customer interaction skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and operate equipment safely.
• Must be over 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Require manual dexterity and coordination.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures.

WORK SCHEDULE

Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on availability.
