Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1 or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with a social welfare major or equivalent credits.
• Educational requirements met within two months of graduating.
• PA residency requirement is waived for this title.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Background checks including PA State Police, PA Child Abuse history, and FBI fingerprints are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with consumers and families to assess services and document progress
• Lead professional staff or student interns when assigned
• Help consumers access economic, health, physical, or vocational resources
• Provide frequent outreach and treatment based on individual needs
• Deliver emergency and on-call crisis support on a rotating schedule
• Gather personal and family details to identify concerns and connect to services
