JAMS is seeking a detail-oriented legal administrative professional to partner with Case Managers and Panelists in New York. You will support the full lifecycle of cases, providing administrative and coordination services to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in legal admin or client service roles, strong ADR knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. You will contribute to high-quality client experiences and maintain efficient case workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in a legal administrative or assistant role.
  • 2–4 years in legal and client service roles.
  • Proficiency in ADR processes and procedures.
  • Computer literate and proficient in all software required.
  • Knowledge of Panelists’ practice preferences in the local RC.

Responsibilities

  • Completes tasks efficiently and accurately under Case Managers’ direction.
  • Supports Case Managers, clients, and Panelists throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Provides administrative support for Case Managers and Panelists.
  • Develops Case Manager skills to enhance client experience.
  • Act as Case Manager apprentice and cover desk in absence as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule conference calls, pre-hearing prep, and hearings with Panelists.
