Job summary

Allen Lund Company is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to prospect, contract, secure, and establish relationships with carriers to move truckload and LTL volumes of dry, refrigerated, and flatbed cargo.

You will support office standards, develop profitable carrier volume, and deliver exceptional customer service while coordinating daily branch operations and ensuring adherence to company protocols.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a 3PL environment.
• Hands-on experience booking trucks.
• Excellent and effective communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and work ethic.
• Ability to quickly process information and make decisions.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the office to ensure standards, policies, and procedures are upheld.
• Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired carriers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
• Coordinate branch operations: building loads, setting up carriers, updating calls, scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Uphold set processes and match the right carrier for a shipment based on service requirements.
