Job summary

Fusion Transport seeks a motivated Carrier Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with trucking companies and owner-operators. You will secure capacity for customer freight and work with operations and procurement to ensure coverage and competitive rates.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and working knowledge of TMS platforms. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with room for growth in a growing national logistics company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with TMS platforms (McLeod or MercuryGate) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move freight across regional and national lanes.
• Build and manage relationships with carrier partners to ensure capacity and service quality.
• Monitor shipments and resolve service issues or delays.
• Negotiate freight rates in line with market conditions and targets.
• Maintain data in the TMS for all carrier interactions and load details.
