Fusion Transport in Westchester, IL is seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Representative to join our team. This on-site role focuses on freight brokerage and operational excellence, vetting and booking carriers, and coordinating with shippers and customers to keep shipments on track.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in freight/logistics, familiarity with TMS systems like Mercury Gate, DAT, Carrier411, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in freight and transportation logistics.
• Experience with Mercury Gate, DAT, Carrier411 or any other TMS system.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform freight services according to regulations.
• Create, coordinate, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules with shippers, carriers, dispatchers, and customers.
• Monitor routes and schedule backhauls to maximize daily route efficiency.
• Track shipment status and report outcomes.
• Vet carriers to securely broker freight.
• Coordinate logistics for projects from multiple sites and vendors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with multiple carriers.
• Maintain records and ensure freight paperwork is complete and approved.
• Resolve freight discrepancies and inform relevant parties.
• Respond to customer concerns professionally and promptly.
