Matson Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to source capacity, negotiate rates, and coordinate over-the-road shipments with carriers, operations teams, and customers. You will help ensure freight moves safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively across our network.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, problem-solving, and negotiating under deadline pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or comparable software.
• Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and market conditions.
• Accurate data management in business systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers to ensure reliable service.
• Negotiate competitive rates balancing customer needs, carrier partnerships, and objectives.
• Identify loads, secure capacity, and coordinate over-the-road shipments.
• Manage load bookings and communicate service expectations to carriers.
• Review accessorial charges and invoice discrepancies; ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain accurate carrier information in Matson's TMS and resolve billing discrepancies.
