• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration/supply chain.
• Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier network.
• Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Grow under-performing client accounts, upsell opportunities and maximize profitability.
• Build and manage an existing carrier network to meet shipping needs.
• Improve customer service skills, transit times and transportation costs.
• Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments.
• Track and trace orders and complete all load-related paperwork.
• Participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
