Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Three (3) years or more business experience required.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Industry, carrier modes & services and basic Supply Chain design and functionality advanced required.
• Knowledge and support of RIL policies and procedures advanced required.
• Demonstrated PC skills in MS Access, Excel, Word. Clear understanding of SMS legacy system intermediate required.

Responsibilities

• Tender accept/reject loads, creates loads, sets appointments, dispatches, tracks and traces loads, root cause problem solves issues.
• Identifies and develops relationships with transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage to maximize penetration of customer freight portfolio.
• Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling of coverage for loads to ensure proper fulfillment of customer needs.
