You will guide heavy-haul and project cargo, mentor teams, and coordinate with customers, carriers, and operations to deliver complex transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep transportation expertise, strong commercial and customer-facing skills, and ability to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Experience presenting to internal and external customers.
• Experience supervising others.
• Experience in negotiations and building strategic business relationships.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary liaison between customers, carriers, engineering, operations and stakeholders to develop transportation solutions.
• Act as subject-matter expert for heavy-haul, over-dimension, project cargo and high-value freight movements.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and transportation providers.
• Lead customer-facing discussions and transportation strategy reviews for procurement initiatives and carrier solutions.
• Evaluate transportation requirements and recommend strategies and execution approaches.
• Collaborate with carriers and partners to validate routing, permits, escort requirements and site access.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFP development, carrier evaluations and supplier selection.
