Job summary

NWU in Riverview, FL seeks a summer intern to perform high-volume outreach to truckload carriers, negotiate rates, and book loads. You will build a carrier portfolio, service partner carriers, and collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student with an expected graduation date by August 2028.
• Proactive, gritty self-starter with relentless drive to succeed.
• Outstanding communication and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to connect with people and build relationships.
• Sales experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make 85 cold calls daily to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads.
• Build new relationships and develop your own carrier portfolio.
• Provide excellent service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders.
