Job summary

Shine BrightX LLC in Florida is seeking a motivated summer team member to handle on-site outreach and carrier management. You will make 85 daily calls to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments, negotiate rates, and book loads while building your own carrier portfolio.

The role emphasizes relationship building, exceptional communication, and a strong competitive drive, with opportunities to exceed KPIs and participate in development sessions.

Qualifications

• Current students with expected graduation by August 2028.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to connect with people and build relationships.
• Sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time throughout the summer.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Resilience and persistence under stress.

Responsibilities

• Make 85 cold calls daily to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads.
• Build new relationships and develop your own carrier portfolio.
• Provide excellent service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Exceed metrics such as outbound calls, loads moved, and automation targets.
• Resolve service failures in a dynamic and challenging industry.
