Job summary

U.S. Xpress in Chicago is seeking a Rep, I Carrier Sales to facilitate the movement of loads by contracting carriers and managing an outsourced network. You will track freight to meet customer requirements and provide the highest level of service.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor preferred) and strong negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel/Power BI. This full-time on-site position offers a compensation range of $45,000 to $50,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor degree in related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage carrier relationships to negotiate rates and secure load coverage.
• Establish and grow a network of carriers through lead generation and referrals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues for carriers and customers.
• Monitor carrier performance and maintain system data.
• Provide high-level customer service and support load movements.
